Is FUTUROOT SAP-specific?
No. FUTUROOT connects to SAP ECC, SAP Cloud ERP, and a range of other ERP and operational systems. The pre-configured process suites are optimised for SAP environments, but the platform supports Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, and other systems via APIs and data extracts.
How long does deployment take?
For standard process coverage on a SAP environment, typically four to six weeks from connection to first insights. Custom process coverage takes longer depending on scope. No client IT development is required for standard deployments — Percipere’s FUTUROOT practice handles configuration.
Is it a process mining tool or a controls monitoring tool?
Both. FUTUROOT combines process mining — which shows you how processes actually run — with continuous controls monitoring, which checks those processes against your agreed control framework in real time. Most platforms offer one or the other. FUTUROOT does both in a single system.
What does the client need to provide?
Data access to your source systems – either via API, standard SAP extraction, or flat file. For SAP environments, this is typically straightforward. You do not need to provide process documentation, flowcharts, or IT development resource for a standard deployment.
