PerciPlan
Stop planning on guesswork. Start planning on data.
PerciPlan is a demand forecasting and planning solution built on SAP Analytics Cloud, designed for mid-market manufacturers and wholesalers on SAP S/4HANA. It combines historical sales data, your sales team’s market knowledge, and AI-powered predictive modelling into a single agreed forecast-accurate, auditable, and passed directly to your ERP.
Mid-market forecasting is still done on spreadsheets. It does not have to be.
Every forecast is a negotiation. It does not have to be.
Your sales team has one forecast. Operations has another. Finance has a third. A sales representative applies a percentage to last year’s numbers based on experience. Another department uploads a different version. By the time a number reaches procurement and production, it has been negotiated rather than calculated-and nobody is fully confident in it.
PerciPlan replaces that process. A demand planning solution built on SAP Analytics Cloud that combines historical sales data, your sales team’s market knowledge, and AI-driven modelling into a single agreed forecast-accurate, structured, and passed directly to your ERP.
Three inputs. One agreed forecast.
PerciPlan combines three sources of forecasting data into a single consensus demand figure-the agreed forecast that drives procurement, production, and inventory planning in SAP.
INPUT 1
Adjusted historical forecast
INPUT 2
Sales representative forecast
Source: Planners and supply chain teams
Sales order history from SAP S/4HANA is automatically synced into PerciPlan by product, by customer, or by any combination the business requires. Planners apply an uplift percentage to reflect expected growth or market changes. Simple, transparent, and tied directly to actual ERP data.
Source: Sales team
The sales team uploads their own version of the forecast directly — based on their knowledge of the market, pipeline, and customer relationships. This version reflects the human insight that historical data alone cannot capture: a new customer, a regional opportunity, a competitor’s exit.
OUTPUT
System-generated forecast
Generated by: PerciPlan AI models on SAP Analytics Cloud
PerciPlan’s time-series forecasting models on SAP Analytics Cloud produce a system-calculated forecast baseline. These models account for seasonality, trend patterns, and anomalies in historical data — factors that manual uplifts cannot capture. This becomes the third input into the consensus demand process alongside the adjusted historical forecast and the sales team’s view.
CONSENSUS DEMAND
The agreed final forecast
Planners use PerciPlan’s scenario analysis tools to compare all three inputs, run what-if analyses, and agree on a final consensus demand figure. This is the forecast that is passed back to SAP S/4HANA to drive procurement and production planning downstream.
What PerciPlan Delivers?
Planning Tools
AI Forecasting
Scenario analysis and what-if planning
Planners can model multiple scenarios side by side-applying different uplifts, adjusting for market events, or testing the system forecast against the sales team’s view-before committing to a final number.
Seasonality and trend modelling
Historical data is often misleading without context. PerciPlan’s time-series models separate genuine demand signals from seasonal and one-off variations, producing a forecast baseline that reflects how the business actually behaves.
ERP Connection
Visibility
Native SAP S/4HANA integration
Sales order history is synced directly from SAP S/4HANA. The consensus demand flows back into the ERP to drive downstream procurement and production planning. SAP to SAP-no manual data transfer.
Reporting and visualisation dashboards
Pre-built dashboards delivered as part of the PerciPlan implementation give the business a clear visual view of forecast performance, variances, and trends. Teams can also build their own views within the system.
AI Add-On
PerciBOT conversational analytics (optional)
PerciBOT can be added to PerciPlan as an optional capability-giving planners the ability to ask questions of their forecasting data in natural language rather than navigating dashboards. Ask for a comparison between predictive forecast and consensus demand, surface a shortfall, or understand why a product is showing an upside. Available as part of a PerciPlan Plus or Premium configuration.
Applications
Supply Chain and Finance
Supply chain forecasting
The primary application for PerciPlan is supply chain demand planning-forecasting what needs to be purchased and manufactured to meet projected sales. The consensus demand produced by PerciPlan feeds directly into SAP S/4HANA to drive procurement and production planning for the period ahead.
Finance planning
PerciPlan’s finance application uses the sales forecast as the starting point for a bottom-up cost plan-working from projected sales volumes through bill of materials, procurement costs, manufacturing costs, labour, and overheads to arrive at a financial budget for the period.
Two Deployment Options
PerciPlan requires SAP Analytics Cloud as its platform. For complex manufacturing environments, SAP Business Data Cloud (SAP Analytics Cloud plus SAP Datasphere) may be required. Confirm license requirements with the Percipere team.

FAQs
What is PerciPlan?
PerciPlan is a demand forecasting and planning solution built on SAP Analytics Cloud, designed for mid-market manufacturers and wholesalers on SAP S/4HANA. It combines three sources of forecasting input-historical sales data, the sales team’s own forecast, and an AI-driven predictive model-into a single agreed demand figure that drives procurement and production planning in the ERP.
Who is PerciPlan for?
PerciPlan is designed for supply chain planners, demand managers, and sales operations teams in manufacturing and wholesale businesses. The finance planning extension-currently in development-will also be relevant to finance leaders and budget owners.
How does PerciPlan produce a forecast?
PerciPlan works with three inputs: an adjusted historical forecast based on last year’s sales data from SAP, the sales team’s own forecast uploaded directly into the system, and a system-generated predictive forecast produced using time-series models in SAP Analytics Cloud. Planners use PerciPlan’s scenario analysis tools to compare all three, run what-if analyses, and agree on a consensus demand figure-the final number passed to the ERP.
What is consensus demand?
Consensus demand is the agreed final forecast-the output of combining and reconciling the three forecasting inputs. It is the number that drives downstream procurement and production planning in SAP S/4HANA.
Does PerciPlan account for seasonality?
Yes. PerciPlan’s time-series forecasting models separate genuine demand trends from
seasonal and one-off variations in the historical data-so a spike driven by a seasonal event does not distort the baseline forecast for the rest of the year.
What does PerciPlan require to run?
PerciPlan requires an SAP Analytics Cloud licence and an active SAP S/4HANA
implementation. For more complex manufacturing environments with multiple data sources or advanced formula requirements, SAP Business Data Cloud-which bundles SAP Analytics Cloud with SAP Datasphere-may be needed. Confirm requirements with the Percipere team.
Can PerciPlan be added after go-live?
Yes. PerciPlan can be deployed as a standalone add-on for organisations already running SAP S/4HANA-as long as the ERP is live and the underlying data is available. It can also be included as part of a phased S/4HANA implementation.
Does PerciPlan connect to systems other than SAP?
The primary data source is SAP S/4HANA. PerciPlan can also ingest data from external systems-such as a CRM or data warehouse-where there is a use case for additional demand signals. Confirm specific integration requirements with the Percipere team.
What is the finance planning extension?
PerciPlan’s finance application uses the consensus demand forecast as the starting point for a bottoms-up cost plan-working through bill of materials, procurement costs, manufacturing costs, labour, and overheads to produce a financial budget. This capability is currently in development and will be available as a future extension.
Does PerciPlan include PerciBOT?
PerciBOT-Percipere’s conversational AI for analytics-is available as an optional add-on to PerciPlan. It allows planners to query their forecasting data in natural language rather than navigating dashboards. It is available as part of a PerciPlan Plus or Premium configuration.
